Interview with Banana Jamz Record Label Manager Jack Pochop and Composer/Arranger Josh Willis

I frequently shout my love of the Donkey Kong Soundtrack for the Super Nintendo from rooftops. I was delighted when I discovered a vinyl pressing of the Kong Kong soundtrack featuring a re-imaging/remix of the original material. Wanting to learn more about the process of this record coming to life I sat down for an interview with label manager Jack Pochop from Cartridge Thunder and composer Josh Willis who arranged the music for the album “Banana Jamz”.

Since the release of that original Banana Jamz vinyl record, they also released the sequel: Banana Jamz 2, featuring the music of Donkey Kong Country 2: Diddy Kong’s Quest.
